Roof Leak Causes Water Damage to Stratford, CT Church
A leak in the roof of this Stratford Church caused water damage to the flooring in several classrooms and the hallway.
The SERVPRO of Milford-Orange-Stratford team removed the standiing water as well as the moisture in the air using extractors, air movers and dehumidifiers. The tile ceilings, which were water damaged, were removed and hauled away for disposal.
The floor tiles, in the affected areas, which tested positive for asbestos, required removal by a licensed Connecticut Asbestos Abatement Company. Once the tiles were professionally removed and discarded our post-restoration construction team came in to finish the job. New ceilings and flooring were installed, leaving the church better than ever.
