Water Damage Restoration After Pipe Burst in New Haven County Basement

A majority of the water damage restoration jobs that we perform in basements are caused by broken water pipes. The problem with having a pipe burst in the basement is that it is not always discovered quickly.

After a pipe burst in this Milford home, the unfinished basement had standing water which damaged some of the contents. Our team removed the damaged furniture, wet carpeting and wet wall paneling from the home.

They then used water extractors, dehumidifiers, air scrubbers and air movers to dry the basement out. Anti-microbials were applied to the surfaces to suppress the growth of harmful microorganisms such as bacteria, viruses, or fungi.
