Water Floods Basement of Stratford, CT Home

We received a call from a homeowner who had a flood in his basement after several days of heavy rain. The first step our production manager took upon arrival was to inspect the basement, making sure it was safe to work in. He then discussed his recommendations for restoration with the homeowner. 

We extracted the water from the basement and then worked to remove the water from the air. We used air movers and dehumidifiers to bring moisture levels down. Holes were drilled in the walls in order to dry out the space behind the walls. Plant based microbials were applied to the surfaces of the basement to avoid the growth of mold. The job was done within a few days and the homeowner was able to move on with their normal life.
