Birds Nest Causes Church Fire

We recently responded to a call from a local church that had experienced widespread damage from a fire.  Upon inspection, it was determined that a birds nest that had been under the eaves of the church had ignited from a spark and the ensuing fire quickly spread to the structure. 

We know that this was an unusual occurrence - most of us would not see a birds nest as a cause for concern. Take a look around and you will find that many buildings in the area have been utilized as a home by birds - especially in the springtime.  But in our business, we've seen the unimaginable happen and cause serious damage to homes and businesses such as this one.
